There is only one author I can think of who has books that are considered dark conflicts, reference the forbidden through adult content, and unexpected ending. I think it's time for you to pick up a copy of any of the Medusa Stone books. Her books are about fantasy, vampires, supernatural creatures, traveling across realms, LGBT relationships, cults and sex rings.
Medusa Stone is a novelist and poet born in Spain, Winner of Humanitarian Literary Award, International blogger, and journalist. She moved to the United States in 2000, where she became the author of Adult Thrillers and Dark Fantasy. Medusa is a very spiritual person that enjoys creating everything around her: from art, to music, books instruct her, and love fills her up. Medusa believes, through characters in her books and life stories, her readers will gain awareness about a reality that seems far to the general public and that very few people know about.
